The Berberé is an original blend of spices from the Horn of Africa. It is a key ingredient of the Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisines.
Spicy and aromatic, including paprika, chili, salt, black pepper, ginger, green cardamom, greek hay, nutmeg, cinnamon, Ceylon cinnamon, cloves and allspice.
Indispensable for cooking the zighinì, the beef stew typical of African tradition, the berberé can also be used to flavor special sauces, like the vegan mayonnaise, or to give an exotic and spicy note to traditional flavours such as those of a soup legumes.
